Dear scouts,
 
Please read the following carefully.
 
22 May 2010 (Saturday)
Theme:  Dress rehearsal (have your costume and props ready)
Time: 4 to 6 pm
Venue: meet in the playground then move to a room (to be advised)
Dress code:  229 outdoor uniform
 
23 May 2010 (Sunday)
Assembly: 10 am
Dress code: casual wear or uniform in the morning, full uniform after the performance in the afternoon
Lunch: to be provided by the scout group, BRING YOUR OWN EATING WARE
 
Rundown:
2:30 to 4:00 pm – anniversary performance
4:00 to 4:30 pm – tea
4:30 to 6:00 pm – Annual General Meeting
6:00 to 6:30 pm – clearing and packing
6:30 to 6:45 pm – going to HKU by coach
7:00 to 9:00 pm – dinner cum award presentation
 
IMPORTANT POINTS TO NOTE
- There will be free time between rehearsals, bring your school assignments to do or books to read if you wish to.
- Make use of Friday (21/5) which is a holiday to finish the school work and study assigned by your teachers for the weekend.
- Make sure you wear or bring the whole set of scout uniform on Sunday.
- Invite your parents to come in the afternoon.
- Some awards will be presented at dinner.  They will not be given to awardees who are absent.
- Bring your own eating ware for lunch.
- Hand in membership subscription form if you wish to stay with 229 Scout Group (if you have not submitted)

Dear members of the 229 family,

As the overall-in-charge of the Anniversary Performance this year, I’d like to thank you all for your efforts and contributions to putting together something meaningful and entertaining to share on our big day.  We do look forward to putting up another good show this year!  Please refer to the rehearsal and performance rundown attached for the detailed arrangement.  旅慶表演綵排程序 v3

In order to help you ‘recharge’ yourself in the middle of the day, we are going to serve free buffet lunch and afternoon tea to all leaders, scout members and parent volunteers, on the covered playground of the College.  To show our care for the environment as well as our own health, we are all required to bring our own set of reusable eating utensils, say plate/bowl/mug and chopsticks/fork/spoon.  Please get them ready early and be prepared.

Should you want to help save the environment further and reduce food wastage, you are also encouraged to bring your own re-usable food containers to take home the food left over, if any, from our buffet lunch and/or our buffet dinner at HKU.  Free transport will also be provided to take you all to HKU for our Anniversary Dinner.
